Tennis courts alive again in Standerton

A Beginners and Intermediate Tennis Clinic Tournament took place at the tennis courts on Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28.

Team Me Up Academy took the opportunity to have a tournament for the kids.

“It’s been a while since hosting such an event because of the pandemic,” Mr Mathew Khumalo said.

“We got the green light from the Tennis Board of South Africa to begin under Covid-regulations and guidelines.

“It was such a colourful event for the beginners and intermediate tennis players.”

Mr Kumalo thanked the parents for their support.

“We hope to host another one in the coming months, latest October, God willing,” he concluded.
