Dynamos FC puts soccer on the map again in Standerton

“I decided to establish the team due to drug and alcohol abuse in our town,” Ms Van Wyk said.

Dynamos FC hosted its first soccer awards in Standerton on September 25.

Ms Jolene van Wyk and Mr Rahman Kamwendo established the team in 2019, with the assistance of Mr Mohammed Hussain.

“I decided to establish the team due to drug and alcohol abuse in our town,” Ms Van Wyk said.

“I could not just stand by and watch Lekwa fall to pieces.”

She also said she tries her best to motivate her soccer kids and motivate them in doing better at school.

Dynamos FC thanked the president of Safa in Mpumalanga, Mr Dithseko Marajoo, for attending the event and motivating the kids to a brighter future.

“We have big dreams for the future of our youth,” Ms Van Wyk concluded.

Anyone who is willing to help in reaching the Lekwa-youth, can contact her on 061 225 4616 .
