It’s official, parkrun is on again

It’s been confirmed.

Standerton’s parkrun at the Standerton River Park will begin again on Saturday, October 16.

Some of the participants at this favourite exercise event began walking the streets, no pun intended, during the lock-down.

They were preparing themselves to be up to it, once restrictions are lifted.

The Vermaaks of Kosmospark are no exception.

Athletes maybe need to shake off the winter-fat for the 5km route that awaits them.

The parkrun is free of charge, volunteers are on hand to help, where necessary and a tail walker makes sure each and everyone is accounted for.
