Play golf for a good cause

The day golfing event will be a four-ball alliance with American scramble drives.

Delta 1 Rescue Diving are inviting you to attend their annual charity Golf Day which will be held at the Walker Park Golf Club on Thursday November 25.

They have to raise R50 000 for much needed equipment.

The competition is a four ball alliance, with “American scramble Drives” (choose the best drive and then complete the hole individually) 2 Scores to count, all scores to count on the par 3 holes.

Sponsorship is R2 500 per four ball.

Non-golfer sponsorship donations or prizes are most welcome.

Golfers or players and advertisers will be guests of Delta 1 Rescue.

The cost for a business to advertise for the day will be R3 000 per hole.

You will be assigned a hole via lucky draw. You can also advertise your company and products to everyone there, in the form of putting up banners, gazebos or having staff with advertising material, samples, etc.

If you would like to enter a team of your own, there is a cost of R2 500 per four ball

Golfers will only be responsible for their caddie fees, golf carts and drinks.

Golfers are requested to bring a golf cart along in case there is a shortage of caddies.

Tea or coffee and sandwiches will be available in the morning before play starts.

A light snack will be available at the clubhouse after nine holes. Supper will be served at the prize giving function.

Participation, donation or prizes will be greatly appreciated.
