Cansa holds its Pink Walk in Standerton

This initiative originates from Jean Robertson who organised it about 12 years ago.

Cansa’s Pink Walk took place on Saturday, October 9.

Participants came together at the Standerton Town Hall before beginning to walk or jog towards the Junxion Centre.

Volunteers, their family and friends pitched in and helped.

The traffic department was thanked for giving permission to do the walk, with Nissan Garage and AfriForum escorting them all the way.

Tables were set up at the centre and merchandise was sold as well.

An air of festivity, despite the severity of cancer, marked the event.
