1834 Tactical in Secunda hosts second combative club shoot

The 1834 Tactical Shooting Club, situated at Lake Umuzi, hosted their second club shoot on Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24 with Jacques Alberts taking the first place victory.
He ended the match on 368.9403 points.
He was followed by Francois Meyer in second place who ended on 270.4890 match points.
Jacques Alberts also took third place on 264.3536 match points after competing in two different categories.
Jannie Adams claimed fourth place with a score of 201.7049 match points, followed by fifth place Francois Meyer who ended on 178.1202 also after competing in two different categories.
The 1834 Tactical Shooting Club’s competition is held once a month and is open to all people belonging to local clubs, as well as non-club members.
The club caters around other club shooting days.
Each round allows for eight shooters, therefore prior bookings are essential as the club does not cater for walk-ins.
The club shoots are not IPSC shoots and is combative shooting, working on IPSC scoring mixed with IDPA, thus creating a self defense sport shooting environment.
The rules of scoring are very stringent.
