Elukwatini’s best bowler was Hamza Naeem, who took one wicket, in 3,2 overs, conceding 10 runs.
Bat-in-hand, he contributed eight runs.
Standerton CC 2 also beat Sasol 3 from Kinross convincingly by 183 runs at the Piet van den Berg-oval on Sunday, November 14.
The scoreboard read 314-8 for the home team after 40 overs, while their opponents managed 131 all out after 23,4 overs.
This was a group A match of the Gert Sibande Premier League.
It kicked off at 11:00 with Standerton opting to bat.
Craig Young scored 96 runs of 46 deliveries, Werner Mouton 72 runs of 50 deliveries and Ludwich Kock 37 runs of 49 deliveries.
Bongani Mtswagai’s bowling figures was 2/27, Sfiso Shilli’s 2/47 and Thabo’s 1/21.
Once in front of the wicket, Kinross’ batsmen had no answer to the relentless attack.
Ivor Booysen scored 55 runs of 54 deliveries, Zane Skhosana 29 runs of 23 deliveries and Bonkosi 13 of 18 deliveries.
Elpee Jordaan took three wickets, conceding only 10 runs, Mouton also took three wickets, conceding 14 runs and Jan-Dirk van Dyk took two wickets, conceding 11 runs.
No results are available for the first team’s match against Ermelo 1 the previous day, due to rain.
