Da Vinci’s awards players
The most prestigious award, Player of the Year was portrayed by the overall characteristics and performance of Mduduzi Mahlangu.
“Committed”, “passionate” and “driven” are just some of the words used to describe the members of Da Vinci’s Pool Club.
According to Mr Jo van den Berg, the commitment the players have towards their club and each other is what makes this club great.
The club celebrated the efforts of its members at their annual award ceremony on December 5.Marius Vermeulen won the Most Spirited Player of 2021 award.
This is a true reflection of his “never give up” attitude towards the game and his fellow club members.
The award for Most Developed Player for 2021 is shared between Shanel Ackerman and Bongani Mbuli.
Both of these players has shown tremendous growth in their abilities from where they started until the end of the year.

He represented Da Vinci’s Pool Club with pride and excelled at club, provincial and national levels. Mahlangu is currently ranked third in South Africa in the seniors category affiliated to South African Blackball Federation.
Da Vinci’s thanked Bryte Insurance Company, HM Services, Bethal Golf Club and Mega Scale & Livestock Equipment for their contribution towards making this a memorable year.
