Vince Bembe, a member of Dominators Den, lost his fight in mixed martial arts (MMA) at the EFC championship in Gauteng on Saturday, December 4 against Bradley Swanepoel from Durban.
It was Bembe’s third professional MMA fight and although he lost, his coach, Cedric Doyle, said he is proud of Bembe for fighting his heart out.
Doyle said Bembe’s hard work and determination to be the best sportsman he can be, showed once again on the fight day.
Bembe lost in the second round by submission.
“I always tell my guys, losses are part of life, you are going to lose sometimes in life, whether it is a job interview, or relationships or even fist fights,” said Doyle.
“Learn to take those lessons and learn from them, do not have any excuses ever.
“Just because someone was better than you in that split second in time, does not mean he is better than you forever, or even one minute later.”
