Cyclists compete in Cosmos 3-in-1 at Secunda
This was an ultimate 100km race done in three stages with the first leg kicking off at 6.30 from Lake Umuzi and consisting of 72.8km track.
The past weekend saw cyclists competing in the Ultimate 3-in-1 MTB race, also known as the Cosmos 3-in-1.
This was an ultimate 100km race done in three stages with the first leg kicking off at 06:30 from Lake Umuzi and consisting of a 72.8km track.
The cyclist took off at 11:30 for the half race with a distance of 36.6km track and lap race which consisted of 2.1km that started at 15.00.
There was also a fun ride for all participants and a japtrap for children ages 2 to 5 years.
Taking first place in the men’s division for this year’s Cosmos 3-in-1 was Juan van Niekerk with a time of 03:57:43.139.
In the women’s division and claiming her first place was Christina Louw with a total time of 05:09:59.903.
