Sifiso Siphamandla is making the Standerton Parkrun his own

Competition among the athletes was such that 18 athletes ran new personal best times.
Siphesihle Jimmy Junior was in second place in a time of 22 min 41 sec, followed by a first-timer, Siphesihle Ntshangase, who completed the distance in 22 min 56 sec.
Tshiamo Lephoto ended in fourth place in 23 min 51 sec.
Antoinette Herbst, Arizelle du Toit, Charl van Wyk, Ishara Pillay, Jennifer Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Kay Pillay, Krishnalal Ramdharee, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Jean Robertson, Priscilla Ramdharee, Renette de Sousa, Ronnie Moodley, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Vanita Moodley and Wessel Herbst facilitated a smooth run.
Siphamandla was also victorious on Saturday, March 19 when finishing in a time of 16 min 55 sec, a new personal best.
His rival, Siyabonga Kamhelo was in second place in a time of 17 min 11 sec, followed by Lephoto in 19 min 38 sec.
Kamhelo also reached a milestone of completing his 25th parkrun.
The athlete who ended fourth was not registered, while Jimmy Junior ended in fifth place in a time of 21 min 26 sec, a new personal best.
Altogether 60 participants took on the 5km, with 11 personal best time achieved.
Van Wyk, Elmien Vermaak, Hugh Robertson, Johan Ferreira, Karin Ferreira, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Robertson, De Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Séan Jansen van Rensburg and Sylvy Moodley saw to it that participants could have a safe route.
