Nearly 50 brave souls arrive for parkrun in Standerton
Chrizell Roberts holds the women’s record when she ran 19:17 on August 24, 2019, while Katleho Samuel holds the men’s record of 16:01, registered on November 2, 2019.
A total of 47 participants took part in the parkrun in misty conditions on Saturday, June 18.
Four athletes also improved their times.
Sifiso Siphamandla completed the 5km in a time of 22:23, followed by Mlungisi Ntumba in 22:33.
Mohammed Mussa crossed the finish line in 24:44, Junior Mudau in 26;37 and Theo Schönfeldt in 26:51.
Run director, Elmien Vermaak thanked the volunteers.
