Master Nominee JP Vorster and Victory Taekwondo students from Secunda compete at Arnold Classics

Victory Taekwondo students did exceptionally well and walked away with a whooping 36 medals.

Students from Victory Taekwondo and Karate for Kids competed in the Arnold Classics Multi Sports Festival, Arts and Lifestyle Expo, that was held in Roodepoort, Johannesburg from June 3 to 5.

The Arnold Classics was filled with smiles, nerves and pride and to be able to participate in such an event is a huge honour.

Victory Taekwondo students did exceptionally well and walked away with 36 medals.

A total of 13 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze were obtained.

Hans Bosch walked away with two gold and two silver medals, while Zavion Joubert also walked away with a gold and two bronze medals.

Stephan Serfontein claimed three gold medals, while his brother Franco Sefontein claimed one gold medal.

Their sister Luane also proved to be on the winning streak and clinched two gold medals.

Ndzalama Mgomezulu was awarded a gold and three silver medals.

Lehan Pretorius claimed two gold and two bronze medals.

Although he did obtain any medals, Connor Coetzee was also a winner for competing in such a big and grand event.

Nina Mari Claassens walked away with a silver and two bronze medals, while Jayden Pienaar clinched two silver medals.

A silver and two bronze medals were awarded to Dewald van Deventer. Richard van der Walt was awarded a silver medal.

Sabumnim Cornelia Bosch claimed two bronze medals.
