Graceland in Secunda to host charity golf day
Bodybuilder Karen Gräbe, in collaboration with Janelle Huis, will be the recipients of the day’s proceeds.
A charity golf day will be held at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club on August 4, where golfers can support two local causes.
Bodybuilder Karen Gräbe, in collaboration with Janelle Huis, will be the recipients of the day’s proceeds.
Janelle Huis is a non-profit organisation that provides a safe and loving haven for children in distress who have been removed legally from their homes due to circumstances regarding abuse, molestation, rape, very bad neglect and/or abandonment.
Gräbe is one of six selected athletes who will represent South Africa at the Arnold Classic Europe, which will take place in Seville, Spain in September.
Gräbe achieved this despite having been diagnosed some years ago with Lupus, an autoimmune disease.

She has been competing for two years during which she achieved top rankings in various competitions and earned an invite and spot to compete at the Arnold Classic Europe.
The cost for a team of four to enter the golf day is R3 000.
This will include green fees and a halfway lunch.
The game is a four-ball alliance, shotgun start. Tee-off is at 08:00.
There are limited golf carts for hire.
Sponsorship of holes is on a first come first serve basis.
Platinum and gold sponsors will have the first choice to exhibit at the popular holes.
This event is also a great advertising opportunity for businesses.
Bookings must be done before July 25.
