Boxers from Secunda excel at tournament
Coach Louis Snygans is proud of his members.
Boxers of the Graceland Boxing Academy excelled on June 16 at their first tournament.
These boxers, under the coaching of Louis Snygans, have only been taking part in this sport for four months.
They took part in the eMalahleni Sports and Recreation boxing tournament in eMalahleni (Witbank) and Joachim van der Merwe (19) won during the first round with a total knockout, and Taheer Miller (17) won his match with a unanimous decision.
Mitchell van der Merwe (10), Henrico Botha (17) and Naudé Erasmus (18) finished second.
Snygans said he is proud of them and they did very well.
