Naidoo couple from Evander walks away with many trophies for darts
Couple will also be part of the SAMSA team next year.
Members of the Lekwa Darts Association recently excelled during the Mpumalanga Darts Association’s prize-giving, held in Delmas.
Rees and Karen Naidoo are the Mpumalanga master singles champions among men and women. The couple is also the Mpumalanga masters mixed pairs champions.
Karen Naidoo and Sanet Swart are the Mpumalanga masters doubles champions among the women while Rees Naidoo and Mac McLaren received this title among the men.
Jason Bernard is the Mpumalanga Juniors champion, and the Mpumalanga singles champion, while he and his teammate, Zander Saaiman are the Mpumalanga doubles champions among the junior darts players.

Vernon Ince and Avi Ramnath finished second in the Mpumalanga men’s doubles category, while Naidoo and Hendrick Lourens finished third.
Kim Blake is the Sportswoman of the Year and the Lekwa Darts Association took home 75% of the awards for this year.
The Naidoo couple was also chosen for the men’s and women’s teams respectively to be part of the South African Masters Sport Association (SAMSA) team to participate in the National Corporate Darts Tournament in September in Johannesburg.
This team will also take part in the World Cup Masters Tournament to be held next year.
