Numbers growing at parkrun in Standerton

Paul-Pieter Kotze completed the distance in a time of 21:02, followed by Mbuso Mazibuko in 25;33.

The numbers at the parkrun are steadily growing with 87 participants ready to go on Saturday, September 3.

A total of 12 athletes improved their times in the 5km, while 15 first-timers joined the exercise at the Standerton River Park.

Paul-Pieter Kotze completed the distance in a time of 21:02, followed by Mbuso Mazibuko in 25:33.

Mark de Klerk achieved a personal best of 25:34, while Hein Hefer took it on for the first time and ended in 25:35.

Thikolelwi Mudau’s time was 29:35.

Antoinette Herbst, Frans Vermaak, Jennifer Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Leticia Fourie, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Marjorie Uys, Preyanka Dorasamy, Renette de Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley, Theo Schönfeldt and Wessel Herbst facilitated a smooth event.
