Nafcoc launches women and youth sectors
Local members’ aims at taking advantage of the business opportunities that are available in the Govan Mbeki municipal area.
SECUNDA – The Govan Mbeki municipal area branch of the National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Nafcoc) launched its women and youth sectors recently.
In the women sector, Ms Busisiwe Ndaba is the chairman and her deputy is Ms Hleziphi Mabaso.
Ms Margaret Nkosi is the secretary and her deputy is Ms Busi Hadebe with Ms Lilian Shoba as the treasurer.
The youth is represented by Messrs Sibusiso Shiba as chairman and Raymond Tshembe as deputy chairman.
Ms Lebohang Moqoshi is the secretary and her deputy is Mr Mandla Twala with Ms Puleng Chomane as treasurer.
These leaders come from various small, medium and micro enterprises in the area.
They will help identifying business opportunities for women and youth enterprises for their members.
The sectors will also encourage members to take advantage of available business opportunities in the area.
Mr Vusimuzi Mnisi, secretary, said other sectors will be launched in the coming months.
Nafcoc and Sasol have entered into a “strategic and rules of engagement” in November.
