Kasselman Security Services apprehended a cellphone thief on Saturday afternoon. An elderly woman was robbed of her cellphone near Pick ‘n Pay Junxion at about 12:40.

A quick-thinking witness immediately notified Kasselman Security Services and provided a description of the suspect.

A KSS Reaction officer identified the suspect and arrested him in Charl Cilliers Street.

The cellphone was recovered and the thief was handed over to Standerton SAPS, where the complainant opened a case.
