The West Rand Cluster Police released a statement a few minutes ago stating that the body of a woman was found by school children in a veld, in Elandsvlei near Randfontein.

“The body of a female, fully clothed, was found in the wetlands next to the stream,” police spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst said.

“The body fits the description of the woman who went missing yesterday afternoon. Family will be required to identify the body to confirm whether it is the missing Hanlie Lategan.”
