City Power addresses metering issues in Fleurhof

Door-to-door visits will be conducted

Residents of Fleurhof and surrounding areas are urged to cooperate with City Power officials who will be in the area in connection with metering issues.

According to the councillor for Ward 71, Caleb Finn, they will be conducting an educational campaign. “The officials will be doing door-to-door visits and engaging with residents. They will be notifying residents with problematic meters that the meters will be changed. Residents will also be asked about other metering issues they are having,” he said.

He added that the City Power team has a spreadsheet on which to fill in the details of these issues. The spreadsheet will then be given to City Power to address the problems. “I have received some concerns about residents being asked to provide their identity numbers, but it is not compulsory to do so,” Caleb said.

He urged residents to cooperate with the team, as this will help City Power to address and resolve the metering issues in the area.
