Tree-feller’s equipment seized for illegal use

A tree-feller’s chainsaw was confiscated by law enforcers after the owner was accused of cutting down trees without City Parks’ permission recently.

The man, who ran away before his personal details could be recorded, was caught cutting down the trees on the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Van Staden Roads in Wilgeheuwel, according to the MMC for Economic Development and Ward 97 councillor, Leah Knott.
