Good news about fuel price

Unleaded petrol will go down by 95 and 96 cents per litre respectively.

The Department of Energy announced a decrease in the fuel price on Friday evening 28 June.

The cost of fuel will decrease by between 75 and 95 cents per litre on Wednesday, 3 July.

According to the Department, this is due to a lower international oil price.

The price of unleaded 93 octane petrol will go down by 95 cents per litre, and those who use 95 octane petrol will pay 96 cents per litre less. Diesel will come down by 75 cents per litre for 0.05 per cent sulphur content and 76 cents per litre for a sulphur content of 0.005 per cent. Illumination paraffin will cost 57 cents per litre less, and LP gas will be reduced by R1,33 per kilogram.
