Residents of Wards 71 and 85 invited to apply for subcontracting positions

Residents of Wards 71 and 85 are invited to apply for various subcontracting positions on the JOSCHO project which will be building 333 apartment units in Princess.

Small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs), domestic subcontractors, labour-only subcontractors and material suppliers residing in Wards 71 and 85 are invited to apply for subcontracting positions in the construction of 333 apartment units in Princess.

Enza Construction is looking for potential subcontractors to work with them on the Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) project that was launched on 7 November 2019.

The following proficiencies are required on submitted profiles:

• Bricklaying

• Plastering

• Roofing

• Carpentry

• Tiling

• Plumbing

• Electrical

• Plant hire

• Waterproofing

• Metal work

• Glazing

• Landscaping

The positions are only open to applicants fitting into the following categories:

• Domestic sub-contractor (supply and fit)

• SMMEs and labour-only subcontractors

• Material suppliers

Minimum requirements to be met with regards to the company profile are as follows:

• Current tax clearance certificate

• Vat 103 registration certificate

• B-BBEE Certificate

• Proof of banking

• Letter of good standing

• Company registration certificate

Tenderers will be given the opportunity to price different sections of the Bill.
