City Power implemented stage 2 load shedding today as declared by Eskom. Load shedding started at 8am and will continue until 10pm this evening.

Below is a confirmation of the blocks to be affected by stage 2 load shedding from 8am until 10pm this evening.

08h00 – 12h30: Block 4B & 8B

12H00 – 16h30: Block 5B & 1A

16H00 – 20H30: Block 6B & 2A

20h00 – 22h30: Block 7B & 3A

Extra 30 minutes is added to allow for the process of restoration to take place.

As the supply may be restored at anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times
