Award-winning businesswoman, author and philanthropist, Cindy Norcott who owns Pro Talent and founded the Robin Hood Foundation, was a guest speaker at the recently held Hirch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop.
The title was Marketing on a Shoestring. Joining her was Nuno Lopez who owns Atomic Marketing, a locally based brand activation and experiential marketing firm that deals with below-the-line marketing.
The Zoom workshop is hosted on a weekly basis by Hirsch’s Executive Director, Margaret Hirsch and top business coach with ActionCOACH, Marlene Powell. “Business is about forming relationships, and networking is a lot more efficient now, so make the most of it. Be a shameless promoter and most importantly, look for opportunities to share your knowledge and give back,” said Cindy.

He encouraged entrepreneurs to think outside the box, to be concise, measure and quantify their thinking. “Above all, have fun! Host a virtual party and celebrate your business,” said Nuno.
Marlene pointed out that it was important to surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you.
“Marketing is vital at this time; the people who are doing really well are those who invested in marketing from the beginning of the pandemic,” she added.
