Women in business round off Women’s Month

Executive Director of the Hirsch Group, Margaret Hirsch who also champions Women’s Empowerment, held the group’s monthly Women in Business event as a forum for participants to share their experiences, network and exchange ideas.

Lauren encouraged the women to follow their dreams, which is something her parents encouraged her to do and which led her to achieving a great deal at a young age, including being a sought-after TEDx speaker.
A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. These events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
Lauren’s passion is to tell women’s stories and she has travelled around the world gathering information from women from diverse backgrounds and putting their stories together in book form.
“It’s not impossible to be living your dream and making money from it. We all have fears, and we must get over them and follow our dreams.
“If you aren’t getting what you want from life, just keep knocking on doors and you will get what you want; never give up,” said Lauren.
