Entrepreneurs learn about creating wealth

Wealth-creation was the hot topic at the latest Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop

Multi award-winning businesswoman and Executive Director of Hirsch’s, Margaret Hirsch and one of ActionCOACH’s top business coaches, Marlene Powell discussed the finer points of how to create wealth.

Wealth-creation was the hot topic at the latest Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop with Wealth Coach, Susan Mercer and Joint MD of Sentinel International, Madeleine Schubert also taking part.

Marlene, who was recently announced as the Global ActionMAN of the Year (Africa) with ActionCOACH, a prestigious award and one that is sought after by ActionCOACHES around the world.

“Money is all about you, and it’s a tool to get you somewhere. It is also very important to focus on present wealth creation for a secure future,” said Marlene.

According to Susan, entrepreneurs should have a solid vision of how they would like to see their future pan out.

“What is your vision? Treat yourself as your own business, twice a year, take a look at your assets and liabilities and see if they’re working for you, use an investment house and invest in a tax-free savings account, “said Susan.

Madeleine, who holds a Law and Accounting degree, said investing overseas is wise for anyone who wanted to invest large sums of money.

“Off-shore saving made a lot of sense right now and moving rand into the right investment was crucial,” said Madeleine.

Margaret concluded the session by stressing the importance of doing everything above board and legally.

She also stressed the importance of giving back one third of one’s takings to a worthy cause.

Members of the public and entrepreneurs are encouraged to register on https://bit.ly/3lqeFDy and join Margaret and Marlene for their next Entrepreneurs webinar on September 4 from 11am til noon.

The title will be “Looking for New Opportunities,” and the speakers will be International Health Coach, Kerry Dell and Mark Saunders, a director with SA Domestic Appliances Association.
