The candidate needs to be fluent in local spoken languages and English; capable of writing brief reports; have at least matric; must be well-informed about the local community structures such as the local ward councillor, Community Based Organisations (CBO) and Non-govermental Organisations (NGO) etc; previous construction-related experience will be an added advantage; must be able to travel to the site without assistance; and be contactable via cellphone or telephone.

The following documents need to accompany an application: Neatly typed hand-written CV, to which is attached a proof of residence, and certified copies of the matric certificate and identity document. The original identity document needs to be produced on request.

Submissions are to be made before the end of business on 20 October at the Roodepoort Civic Centre at 100 Christiaan De Wet Road, Florida.
