Man sustains serious injuries when falling off a bridge in Little Falls
Paramedics assessed the victim and it was established that he had sustained serious injuries from the fall.
Tragedy struck at Little Falls in Roodepoort on the afternoon of Wednesday, 21 October when Netcare 911 responded to reports of someone having fallen off a bridge.
Reports from the scene indicated that an adult male had fallen approximately six metres off a bridge onto the rocks below.
Paramedics assessed the victim and it was established that he had sustained serious injuries from the fall.

A team of rescuers comprising Netcare 911, City of Johannesburg Search and Rescue and EMS, Off-Road Rescue, Mountain Search and Rescue as well as the Police Search and Rescue used a specialised stretcher to secure the victim.
A Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner stabilised the man, after which he was carried to an open area where a landing zone was secured for a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance to transport the patient to a specialist facility for further care.
