Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after Louis Botha Drive accident

A man in his 20s was left seriously injured when a light motor vehicle collided with another at the Louis Botha Drive and Daniel Malan Avenue intersection on Wednesday, 28 October.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 2pm to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road. On closer inspection, medics found that one driver had sustained severe injuries. The man, believed to be in his 20s, was treated on scene and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
