Five injured in taxi and car collision

Five people were rushed to hospital after sustaining injuries in a collision between a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle during the weekend.

On Saturday morning, 14 November, Netcare 911 responded to the collision on Peter Road near Short Street in Tres Jolie AH.

According to the Netcare 911 report, the collision resulted in the taxi crashing through a wall.

“Medics treated five patients who sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Once stabilised the patients were transported to hospital by various ambulance services,” the report read.
