Join Florida South Residents Association for their final clean-up of 2020
Florida South Residents Association (FSRA) will be holding their final street clean-up of the year on Saturday, 21 November.
Keeping the streets litter free is a year-round commitment, but even the vigilant community caretakers of Florida South have to take a break.
Florida South Residents Association (FSRA) will be holding their final street clean-up of the year on Saturday, 21 November. Residents concerned about the waste and litter lining the streets of their suburb are urged to gather at the corner of Albertina Sisulu Road and Ninth Avenue by 8am for one last round of unified urban waste collection.

The day will also form part of a charity drive to help The Centre of Themba na Mandla / Centre of Hope and Strength. Attendees of the clean-up are asked to bring with any items of canned goods and non-perishable foods for the centre that helps to tackle the ongoing drug problem on the West Rand.

For those unable to attend, FSRA asks that residents sponsor the time and efforts of their domestic gardener or sponsor R180 for FSRA to source the services of an extra pair of willing and able hands. The weather may be unpredictable so bring along your hat, brooms, spades, binbags and face masks for a morning of community spirit and togetherness.
