Young chefs won big with Hirsch’s

Children from various age groups took part in the battle – whipping up pumpkin pancakes, pies, their own rendition of homemade pasta and a pumpkin sauce.

Lumi Marima and Matthew Scholtz deserve bragging rights to be labelled the best little culinary chefs after walking away with great prizes at the Taste Bud Battles finale.

The delighted duo won the Hirsch’s and Capsicum Cooking School Taste Bud Battles finals that took place at a school recently.

The Taste Bud Battle gave the children a chance to show off their cooking skills, and the winners were thrilled with their R5 000 vouchers from Hirsch’s.
