Popular chef leaves foodies blown away

He has gone on to be one of the most popular, sought-after chefs in South Africa

Popular chef and author Lesego Semenya recently wowed foodies online when he turned up at a Hirsch’s Kitchen Capers event.

Hosted virtually on Zoom and Facebook live by Margaret Hirsch in the state-of-the-art Bosch Kitchen at Hirsch’s in Centurion, the chef took viewers through the different stages of cooking a scrumptious-looking prawn risotto.

Semenya, who is one of Bosch’s VIP Guest chefs, was previously a Process Engineer, and when he decided to quit and immerse himself into the culinary world, he chose The Prue Leith Chef’s Academy to study his craft.

Since then, he has gone on to be one of the most popular, sought-after chefs in South Africa. He has also released a cookbook called Dijo, which bustles with tantalising recipes and food ideas.
