Watch here:
“SPAR Retail Crossing, how can we ever thank you for what you do for our special boy. You never cease to make us [happy] with your love, time and energy with Brettie. [Today] you made his 17th birthday one none of us will ever forget. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all that you do,” Brett’s mother Tammy posted on Facebook.
In an interview with the Northsider two years ago, Tammy told the publication that Brett suffers from a condition related to Distal Arthrogryposis, which is a disorder characterised by joint deformities (contractures) that restrict movement in the hands and feet.

The joyful teen enjoys going to the SPAR because of the natural love he receives – especially the backing from the compassionate employees who sing and clap with him the national anthem as he and his parents pay for their shopping.
