While many areas in the City of Johannesburg will be experiencing a water shutdown over 27 and 28 February, the Princess Plots and surrounding streets will be experiencing a water interruption a few days later.
Joburg Water has announced a planned water outage which is set to affect approximately 560 properties surrounding the Princess Plots, specifically on the following streets:
• Van der Linde Street
• Lieman Road
• Rothchild Road
• Sadie Road
• Harry Road
The interruption will be in place for four hours from 8am to 12 midday on 2 March, and is necessary to tie in new pipes to the existing network as well as install new valves and a fire hydrant.
Joburg Water is conducting this shutdown in hopes of improving service delivery and water continuity.
