Number of active Covid-19 cases in Johannesburg – Region C now at 483
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 436 487 with 417 419 recoveries and 10 913 deaths.

The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in City of Johannesburg, Region C, stood at 21 819 according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown. A total of 20 961 people have recovered so far. There has been 375 Covid-19 related deaths. This brings the total number of active cases in the area to 483.

Rand West City and Merafong City, and Mogale City which forms part of the West Rand District, have had 7 155, 5 412 and 13 031 cases respectively. Rand West City, Merafong City and Mogale City have seen 6 843, 5 120 and 12 374 recoveries respectively.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 436 487 with 417 419 recoveries and 10 913 deaths. This translates to 8 155 active cases within the Province.
