Water tanks set up after pipe burst

The outage was caused by a burst pipe in Little Falls.

Residents can expect water outages after a pipe burst in Little Falls on June 29. According to Joburg Water, areas currently affected are:

• Little Falls

• Strubens Valley

• Wilgeheuwel

• Honeydew

• Ruimsig

A 600mm steel pipe burst on the corner of Cascades and Hendrik Potgieter Roads. The damage is expected to take 24 hours to repair. In the meantime, water tanks are available for the community at:

• Makro – Hendrik Potgieter Road

• Opposite Dros – Doreen Road

• Cnr Van Dalen and Van Der Kloof Roads

• Maragon School – Peter Road

• Honeydew Toyota – Pierre Street

• Ramkiki – Peter Road

• Ruimsig Golf Estate – Cnr Peter Road and Put Street

• King School – Malcolm Road

• Botanical Garden – Beacon Road

Refill tanks will be made available at Wilgeheuwel Hospital.
