City Power Johannesburg recently made a public announcement notifying residents of a planned power interruption on Sunday, July 11 from 07:00.
Areas that will be affected include Quellerina, Florida Glen, Bergbron, Northcliff Extension 9, Whiteridge, Delarey and Industria North.
According to the statement the power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on the network, which is part of their programme of constantly striving to provide a better service.
The interruption will be from 07:00 until noon the same day.
As the power may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
