Vaccination site in Zandspruit operational

The vaccination site at Zandspruit Value Centre is fully operational and open to the public

The vaccination site at Zandspruit Value Centre is fully operational for all citizens who are eligible to get the Covid-19 vaccine. People of 35 and older can now register to be vaccinated; however, walk-ins are also accepted.

Manager of Region C clinics, Rose Legwale said the vaccination site operates from Monday to Friday from 7:30 until the vaccines are finished. “We encourage the community to come and get vaccinated, even if they are not registered on the EVDS. They just need to bring their ID or passport to the vaccination site, with a cellphone number that will be used to send them a message and a reminder for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.”

The Pfizer vaccine, which comes in two doses, is being administered to the community, whereas the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is given to teachers.
