Eagle Nest Hotel hosts first market day

Residents trickled into the Eagle Nest Hotel premises in Little Falls for a market day on Sunday October 24. The market was the first of its kind at the hotel. Owner Ruku said, “We put together the market because we wanted to support small businesses. This is the first one and we want to push it further.”

Small businesses sold items ranging from clothing and perfumes to of course food. Irresistible desserts were on offer. Ghiyaath Joseph, who attended the market with his daughter, expressed his enjoyment. “We are having a really good day here. It’s always nice to be outside.”
