Picnic in the moonlight

The Kings School West Rand hosted a magical picnic under the stars

It was Friday evening November 12 and the quad area at the King’s School West Rand was adorned with fairy lights and picnic blankets. Parents and children kicked off their shoes and laid back for a picnic in the moonlight.

Ronelle Davel, a teacher at the school said the picnic was the first event they held at the school since the beginning of Covid-19. “We try to do one every year. It’s just a family night where everyone can enjoy themselves and be outside. Families can enjoy a Friday night dinner under the stars.”

Paul and Glory Musi said the evening was a great opportunity to be out of the house and still spend time together as a family. Of course the night was not complete without everyone, including parents and teachers, tearing up the dance floor and grooving all night long.
