Market makes for Sunday fun day

The Warriors Ringball Club recently decided that Sundays aren’t just for resting – it’s also perfect for great music, delicious food and exciting entertainment.
This is why they hosted their first-ever White Elephant Market on Sunday, November 7 at their club in Mindalore. According to Warriors chairman Bertus Botha this vibrant market also served as a fundraiser for the club.

Market-goers were welcomed by lovely handcrafted items, jewellery and accessories, cosmetics and perfumes, tasty food, a live security dog show and even some entertainment for the little ones, to name just a few.
“The Warriors management team really worked hard to make this event a success. It was super sociable, super fun and we are extremely grateful for every visitor who supported us on the day,” Club secretary, Adrie Botha said.

They’ve even had a few queries from visitors about the captivating sport that is ringball. The Warriors were of course eager to respond with nothing less than a full-on physical demonstration. With little effort they managed to attract a crowd that was excited to share in their energetic passion.
“We are thankful for the wonderful event and everyone who helped to organise it. We look forward to hosting a similar one next year, and welcoming even more visitors,” Adrie said.

The Warriors would like to thank all the vendors, Frana Pretorius for the music as well as Lisa Botha who managed the admin.
