The CPF joined police officers during weekend operations of Okae Molao

The Honeydew CPF joined police members on an Operation Okae Molao over the weekend.

Okae Molao is a multi-disciplinary operation that encompasses various law-enforcement agencies such as the CPF, JMPD, immigration officers from the Department of Home Affairs, and Fidelity ADT.

Communications officer for the Honeydew CPF, Michael Steyn said they assisted with a static roadblock within the Honeydew precinct on November 13, “… in efforts to ensure that communities feel safe and protected as mandated by the Constitution to prevent and combat crime, and maintain law.”

During the weekend’s operation more than 800 suspects were arrested for various crimes throughout the province. In Cosmo City, a liquor outlet was closed down for operating without a licence – alcohol was subsequently seized at the establishment.
