Lions Christmas Cakes finally here

These beautifully wrapped cakes make the perfect gifts for family and friends.

It’s that time of the year again. Christmas is around the corner and the Lions Club of Wilro Park is welcoming the festive season with their well-known Christmas Cakes.

These beautifully wrapped cakes make the perfect gifts for family and friends, and are sold for a good cause.

Since 1975, Lions Clubs throughout South Africa have sold Lions Christmas Cakes to raise funds to finance projects in their communities. This year is no different as the cakes will be on sale for R135 from Saturday, November 20. The 1kg cakes are non-alcoholic and aren’t iced.

Some of their projects for which funds will be used include vision programmes; hearing projects; diabetes awareness and education; youth exchange and leadership development; feeding schemes; assisting senior citizens, the youth and mentally and physically challenged people; as well as protecting the environment; and disaster relief.

The Wilro Park Lions Club is excited to announce that they will be selling these cakes on Saturday, November 20 from 09:00 to 11:00 at the club situated at 16 Belladonna Street in Roodekrans.

If you want in on this mouth-watering fruity deliciousness, remember to order yours now by contacting Wilro Lions Club president, Sandy van Heerden on 083 564 6388.
