The Easter weekend is around the corner and while many of us are looking forward to a short break, the City of Johannesburg’s waste management company, Pikitup will continue to conduct waste removal services.
Therefore, residents whose waste collection days are on Friday, April 15 or Monday, April 18, are urged to place their waste bins outside their properties for collection as usual.
Pikitup’s depot operational activities during Good Friday and Easter Monday will also continue as normal. This includes refuse collection, garden site operations and CBD street cleaning.
The waste management company is appealing to residents to dispose of their excess waste at its garden sites that are situated in all the seven regions of the City. For more information on the location of the garden sites, please visit www.pikitup.co.za.
