Crawfordian helps to keep little toes warm this winter

The charity organisation will distribute the shoes to needy children in areas such as Durban Deep.

Crawford International Ruimsig’s Grade 1 learner Milan Dasrath and his family donated 100 pairs of shoes to a charity of the school’s choice.

Gerda Bekker, General Manager of Wings of Inspirations’ shelter for women, as well as Anthea da Costa, Director of the Wings of Inspiration group of charities, received the shoes at Crawford Ruimsig Preparatory School on Tuesday, July 26.

The charity organisation will distribute the shoes to needy children in areas such as Durban Deep.

Principal Ashleigh Bateman, as well as special guest Mrs Krugersdorp, Jenny-Lee Swanepoel, spoke to the learners about love, shining your light and how a small gesture could make a huge difference.
