Multi-talented Sandra wins WOW award

Local humanitarian Sandra Da Mata was recognised for her dedication to serving the vulnerable victims of gender-based violence on Saturday, August 15.

Da Mata was the recipient of the “I Conquer” Women of Wonder 2022 Award at a glitz and glam gala dinner in Sandton. The award gave thanks to De Mata for making a formidable impact in her community.

In her acceptance speech the emotional Da Mata said she accepted the award in her late mother’s honour who remained her most phenomenal inspiration. From a young age she taught her always to serve God by shining His Light of love and compassion on all.
