A day of fun for Fleurhof youth
According to founder Queen Seepe who established the organisation in March 2019, the fun day was a success because the main purpose was to provide food for underprivileged children.

On Saturday, August 27 Mofuthu wa Lerato NPO held a Fun Day for their youth in Fleurhof Ext 9.

The day kicked off at midday and saw children competing among each other in activities such as dancing, mind quizzes, racing, and tug-of-war.
After all the fun activities and playing, the children enjoyed food and beverages.
According to founder Queen Seepe who established the organisation in March 2019, the fun day was a success because the main purpose was to provide food for underprivileged children. Another reason for the success was that they introduced mindset activities and games to the children for brain relaxation.

“Feeding them was our main objective, and our secondary objective was to introduce the after-school programme where we will help learners to study their school work for excellent results at school,” she said.
The organisation provides educational services (extra classes from Grades R to 12) and alleviates poverty by providing food to disadvantaged children with their soup kitchen programmes.
The soup kitchen does not run every week as they don’t have enough funding.
“We support victims and survivors of abuse by introducing them to relevant stakeholders such as Florida SAPS (Sergeant Ramosa, 071 675 4455) who works with children that are abused,” said Seepe.
